Surf Sounds: Summer Concert Series at the Surf Ballroom
New Nights. Same Great Sound.
The Surf Ballroom’s beloved summer tradition is back—now with a fresh weekend vibe! Join us for Surf Sounds 2026, a free live music series taking place on select Friday and Saturday nights from May through August at the iconic Surf Ballroom.
This year’s lineup brings an exciting mix of genres and talent to the stage—from high-energy reggae and timeless blues to indie, country, and crowd-pleasing classics. Whether you’re a local regular or visiting for the first time, Surf Sounds is your chance to experience unforgettable music in a legendary setting.
Doors open at 6:30 PM for each performance. Admission is free and open to the public. Free-will donations are encouraged and support the Surf Ballroom & Museum’s Education and Outreach Programs.
Hands-On Learning Behind the Scenes
New this year: Surf Sounds is produced in collaboration with the Surf’s Rave On Internship Program, a real-world learning opportunity tied to the opening of the Surf Music Experience Center. Interns gain hands-on experience in booking, marketing, production, and event management—culminating in a final capstone concert they help lead from start to finish.
Make the Surf Your Summer Soundtrack
Proudly presented with support from:
Raymond James®, Clear Lake Bank & Trust, Dean Snyder Construction, and Stellar Industries.
Whether you’re here for a single show or the whole season, Surf Sounds 2025 promises good music, good company, and the kind of nights you’ll talk about for years.
